Redouté, Pierre Joseph

Pierre Joseph Redouté (1759-1840) was a renowned Belgian painter and botanist, celebrated for his exquisite botanical illustrations. Born in Saint-Hubert, in what is now Belgium, Redouté moved to Paris in 1782, where he would spend most of his career.
